Format Friday Brick Bond
Deciding on what tile to get can be difficult. To try and help you alleviate the creative strain, we’ll be posting a series of blog posts, in order to show off some of the different patterns that are commonly used, as well as providing you with beautiful layout photos of these patterns in action.
The Metro Style
Metro style makes great use of the staggered appearance of the format, in order to produce an elegant and clean design in your home. Metro tiles fit this design perfectly with their rectangular shape and beautiful finish.
Exposed brick can be an interior design heaven. Not every home will have the opportunity or practicality of displaying their brickwork however, and in these cases, exposure lovers will have to go for another option, like a brick effect tile.
If you're a fan of the passé look that brick bond offers, but feel it might be a little too old-school for you, you can always spice it up with some modern colour mixing. Matching black and white metro tiles is a great way to make this style more contemporary.
